Hey

Did you mention the controller in the office.. are the EAPs in a different location?    If so you need to have connectivity to the office to allow adoption, this can be via a VLAN or tunnel between the office router and the remote router where the EAPs are located

@Andrew71

What is your Controller version? What is the firmware version of your EAP? Please make sure it's not a compatible problem.

Moreover, you have to set port forwarding for your Controller, on your Router/Modem Router which the Controller is connecting to, open TCP&UDP port for your Controller, ranging from 29810 to 29813.

For your reference, here is the Guide,

How to manage EAPs at different places across internet using Omada Controller (via NAT Port Forwarding and EAP Discovery Utility)? (New UI)

@Andrew71

V1 is the hardware version, not the firmware, and if the Controller is V3.2.14, the firmware or your EAP should be

and you can also try to disable the firewall on PC for a test.

Dear @Andrew71,

Kind note that the current EAP225-Outdoor firmware listed on the TP-Link website is almost for Omada Controller V4 or above.

To fully work with Omada Controller v3.2.14, you may check the firmware version(the Build number) of your EAP225-Outdoor, which can be found via the discovery utility. If the current firmware is compatible with Controller v4 or above, you may refer to this post to downgrade the firmware of your EAP225-Outdoor and see if it helps.

If your concern is resolved, I'd encourage you to give feedback to the community so others can be confident of the solution.
