Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

I recently installed an OC200 with four EAP access points.  Everything configured fine but there are no statistics for users, etc. I suspect this is because I also need a TP-Link router.  My question is once I receive a new TP-Link router (R605) will I start receiving statistics? I would like to continue using my HP Procurve POE switch. Can I still use the HP switch or do I also need to use and Omada compatible switch?

Thanks,

David

@kempwireless

Hey

Im assuming when you refer to no stats this means on your OC200 Controller?

If that is the case there is likely a SDN version on the controller vs AP Firmware version conflict, this is a common enough issue.    It may also affect your R605 if not addressed

Can you tell us the version of SDN you are running (4.2.8   or   3.2.6  for examples) and the firmware and versions of your APs  (EAP225 v1   v5.0.1.18042920   for example)

Everything has the latest firmware update as of three days ago. I get no statistics on clients, users, traffic etc. I can see my OC200 and my four EAP access points but no stats. I am not using a TP link router, and I’m using a HP procurve switch

Dear @kempwireless,

Everything has the latest firmware update as of three days ago. I get no statistics on clients, users, traffic etc. I can see my OC200 and my four EAP access points but no stats. I am not using a TP link router, and I’m using a HP procurve switch

It won't affect the statistics on wireless clients if there is no TP-Link Omada Gateway/Switch in your network.

To better address the problem, it would be helpful if you could attach some screenshots to show the problem.

Besides, please kindly let us know the detailed firmware version about your OC200 and EAPs for further assistance.

Thank you for your great cooperation and patience.

@kempwireless

Hey

I agree with Fae and still think this is a firmware mis-match issue, if you can provide the firmware details and models for the APs and controller we can help you further.

This is a common issue with firmwares for v4 APs on v3 controllers (and vice versa) so hopefully we can help you once we know more on your specifics.
