Has anyone ever had to move a site and its APs from the Linux 3.1.4 version of the software controller to the Windows 4.2.11 (or 4.2.X) version of the software controller?

In the process, I'll know I'll have to point the FQDN for the 3.1.4 version to the IP of the 4.2.11 version - since they're different. I have root access to both controller installs. The 4.2.11 controller already has a few other sites on it.

Any tips or "recipe" sheets for doing this successfully?

@CLT-Geek

Hello, I have succesfully migrated from 3.x.x controller to 4.x.x SDN controller. Both were Linux based using this guide

@Libik - I need to move a single site from an old controller to a new controller. Not move the controller to the new controller (already done that). What I can't seem to find are instructions for how to move a single site out of an old controller, into a newer version of the controller.

Dear @CLT-Geek,

I need to move a single site from an old controller to a new controller. Not move the controller to the new controller (already done that). What I can't seem to find are instructions for how to move a single site out of an old controller, into a newer version of the controller.

I'm afraid that we cannot move a site between different controller versions.

If both controllers are V4.2.11, you can go to Settings->Migration to start Site Migration.

For more detailed instructions, please refer to Page 207-212 from the UG of Omada Controller V4.
