I have a switch with several devices plugged in that I am trying to remotely monitor. These devices sometimes have to be changed out, and replaced with an identical spare, but obviously a different MAC address. I would like the switch to assign the same IP address to the new device, regardless of the MAC Address of the device connected to the physical port. I tried to force it with subnetting, but was unable to produce the desired result. 

Is this even possible with this switch?
