Hi, in recent times, Omada controller OC200 frequently shows this alert "Border_Router detected Ping of Death attack and dropped 199 packets", many times a day. Is it possible to know more about the source of this attack? Is it real? Or, is it my fault due to a misconfiguration? Thanks

@mazzaris

Hello,

I have the same problem. I disabled Block "Ping of Death" and "Block Large Ping"  in Packet Anomaly Defense, Network Security. It's not the right solution, but it will help.

@mazzaris

I also have the same problem. Not sure if i should disable it or just keep archiving the logs....

I've never had a router report these before, is it just that these new omada routers are more sensative or is it incorrectly reporting it?

@mazzaris will be nice to have option, to disable messages about this, especially those send by e-mail.
