TL-SG2428PS vs T1600G-28PS

I want to buy a 24 port Gigabit switch that can be managed by the SDN controller that manages my APs and the website recommends a TL-SG2428PS. On amazon.com, a search for that switch comes up with a listing for the T1600G-28PS.

Are they the same switch but with a name change? The description says nothing about support for the SDN Controller.

Thanks

@unmesh they are different, the T1600G-28PS is marked as End-of-Life BUT with the latest firmware it will support the SDN controller (see T1600G-28PS Firmware)

The TL-SG2428P seems to be the successor and supports the SDN controller out-of-the-box.

Sadly, last year i bought 3 pieces of the T1600-28PS and just a few month later they are End-of-Life sad

Now we need to buy more and i will go for the TL-SG2428P. They need to interoperate with our HP switches. If all goes well, may be we will replace all 18 HP switches in the long term with TP-Link.

Haven't tried the SDN controller yet.
