Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.7.3 Build 20201119 Rel.63433

Hi,

I have bought an OC200 to manage my 2 EAPs.

During installation I skipped the configuration of the EAPS because they are already configured standalone.
If I adopt the EAPS to the omada controller, is the SSID (name and settings) also adopted?
in other words is the wireless network automatically created from the adopted EAPS, or do I need to create it first at the controller and then adopt the EAPs?

I ask this because I want to use my current (standalone) SSID name

Greetzzz,

Gerben

@Anjerlaan

The settings are NOT adopted, they are wiped once the APs become managed, you will need to create new SSIDs and set them up as managed policies in Omada
