Small green light bulb (?) icon in "Wireless Connection" column of Omada Cloud Controller
What does the small green icon indicate? It is displayed beside some clients (but not all) in the omada cloud controller in the column labeled "Wireless Connection".

I compared the clients with and without the green icon. The pattern is that the green icon appears for clients with "power save" set to "enabled" under client>details>statistics.

Hello @lukass2000 ,
User Guide, on page 305, last paragraph, regarding your question.
Please note:
The Power-saving mode is a client end behavior, if the client is in Power-saving mode , there will be a "little green bulb" icon.
If the client is not in this mode, there will be no such icon, which is a client-side mechanism that we cannot control.
This mode is the power save mode in 802.11 protocol, which is different from the power save mode in phone system.

This was another question i forgot to ask - i scoured the manual and seen no mention of this.
I thought this could be something to do with mesh networks - i dont use this option, but it is enabled.
Seems the manual is missing some pieces - perhaps a basic legend for icons would be nice

Good find - that seems to be what i see as well - based on a quick look at those devices that currently show this icon.

@PH7 I was looking for an answer too, but couldn't find a pattern. For me this green bulb appears on clients which have the "power save" disabled too.

I also have devices with and without a green light?
@Hank21 do you have an explanation for this?
If this is the "power save" function, can I turn this feature on or off?
And can this function be switched on and off individually for each device?
Thanks :)
