Hi, I would like to purchase the following switch:
https://www.tp-link.com/it/business-networking/managed-switch/t2600g-28mps/v1/#overview

since it supports poe, I wanted to know if anyone knows if it works with the following products (powered via poe) by ubiquiti:

UAP-AC-M and UAP-AC-LITE

looking around on google I read mixed answers, but which perhaps referred to the old version of this switch.

If someone can confirm me, I would be very happy, otherwise I will have to orient myself on another switch. thank you.

@uiblog.it, T2600G-28MPS supports the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard.

If the devices from Ubiquiti support 802.3af, too, they can be powered by T2600G-28MPS.

Just check the datasheets of the Ubiquiti devices to find out whether they are compliant to the 802.3af standard.

I see. Beware of classifications such as »802.3af/A«. PoE-powered devices that implement only mode A or mode B are disallowed by the standard, thus IMO not fully conforming to 802.3af. AFAIK, TP-Link PoE switches operate in mode B/4-pair mode. I don't know whether they also support mode A.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_over_Ethernet#Powering_devices for more information.

Hi all,

No worries, 802.3af/A PoE is supported by this switch.

Reading The Power supply mode of the PoE, all of TP-Link’s PoE switches are designed based on the Alternative A and the line pair 1/2 is passive pole while the line pair 3/6 is the positive pole.
