Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 Build 20200430 Rel.52621

Hi All,

does anyone have an experience with assigning a different IP Address to the OC200 Eth2 port?

We've deployed a TP-Link guest WiFi solution for a client which is running along side an exisiting UniFi setup. Ideally I would like the OC200 to access the internet from Eth1 and talk to the access points from Eth2, both ports would be seperated by VLans.

So far when I try to use the Management Vlan option, the OC200 dissapears and is not accessable at all, I've had to restore it to factory defaults twice just to disable this option.

Thanks

Mike

The eth2 interface is bridged with eth1, so it shares the same IP as eth1 does (think of both ports being two ports of a switch).

Traffic to/from an OC200 is always untagged. If you set the »Management VLAN«, this affects only EAPs, but not OC200.

See this HowTo (skip to »Method 2«) on how to set up a guest network using VLANs to isolate it from the local network.

BTW: The forum for Omada Controller / Omada EAPs is here. This one is for the SDN Cloud Controller.

jonas, please can you move the thread to the Business WiFi forum? Thanks!
