The LS1008G came with a 9V power 0.6A power adapter however the barrel connector is the same as used by more standard 12V source.  I'm wanting to use the LS1008G in an environment were there is no easy access to mains current, but 12V is readily available.  Does the switch itself have a built in DC voltage regulator that will handle a 12V power source just fine, or will it simply burn up?  It would be very convient if I could just feed it 12V without any additional circuitry.  Thanks for the help!
