Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.2.0

I have two EAP245s configured and running fine. I have four SSIDs, with three of the setup as VLANs, but I just noticed today that there seem to be two places in the controller to configure VLANs.

I set mine up under Settings >> Wireless Settings >> Edit SSID >> Advanced Settings

What I noticed today is that you can also configure VLANs on each AP under Edit AP >> Configuration >> WLANS >> SSID Override

The user guide did not help clarify this. Maybe I'm missing something, but do you accomplish the same thing regardless of which place you configure the VLANs? Or do those two config places accomplish different things?

@Cnote, overrides are for AP-specific settings which do not apply to other APs. Think of an exception, e.g. all APs use VLAN x for SSID y, except AP #1, which uses VLAN z for SSID y. If you don't need this functionality, just set VLANs for all APs in »Wireless Settings«.

@R1D2, thanks for explaining it. That makes perfect sense.
