Just to clarify, are you saying that when a wireless client (like your mobile) is outside, connected to one of the outdoor wirelessly meshed AP's (which are uplinked to the hardwired root node through the 5.8GHz radio) you're seeing roughly 105-102Mbit/sec DL on you mobile?

Unfortunately, this is normal.  I just made a similar observation myself.  I get up to 150 Mbit on my wirelessly MESH'ed EAP225-Outdoor -- it's uplinked to an Ethernet connected EAP225V3.  I have Gigabit fiber internet (both directions are gigabit).  But I only have one wireless MESH AP, which is why mobile is a bit faster -- less chatter than you have with 4 outdoor AP's.

The problem is that the "goodput" is only ~50-60% of the air link speed for each hop.  What I believe you describes is two hops -- like I have.  STA to Outdoor AP, Outdoor AP to hardwired AP.

so even if all air links were 866MBit/sec.  That would be:

866 * 0.5 =  433 (in practice I get more like ~450 max) for the first hop.

And then 433 * 0.5 = 216.5 (in practice I get more like ~150 max) for the second hop.

Because all of the MESH clients (AP's and their Wifi connected STA's) chatter on the same frequency, there's a lot of overhead back and forth which limits the throughput.  And the negotiated air link rates are rarely 866.
