Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

If anyone can help or know if its possbile. Can I access the EAP-225 Outdoor AP without it being connected to the internet.

Scenario:

I have a Audio console with a network port that is able to use a wireless router (with no internet) to connect my ipad to the console to control it. But range is limited.

I wanted to use the EAP-225 the same way but on my ipad I am unable to connect because it has no internet.

How or if its even possible to use the EAP-225 in this manner?

Thanks for any help.

Sure, but you will need either a DHCP server in your network or a setup with static IP addresses for all devices in your network.

This is the standard error message if the browser can't connect to the device addressed in the location (URL) field. Make sure that you got an IP via DHCP or set a static IP. The iPad might show this message again, but at least you should be able to connect to the audio console.

If you want to use a DHCP server for assigning IPs, connect the audio console to one of a wireless router's LAN ports and the EAP225-Outdoor to another LAN port. Leave the WAN port of the router unconnected.

BTW: there is an own forum for Omada EAPs.
