Model: EAP110
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: V4

For Portal Configuration, the Authentication Type is only available for No Authentication, Local Password and External Radius Server. Why don't have another Authentication Type as written in the box ?

And, is Authentication Type: Local Password not allowed to enter username, as it can only enter password in my interface

Hello,

For EAP, we can manage the EAP in standalone mode or via the Omada Controller.

When working in standalone mode, we can only set No Authentication, Local Password, External Radius Server.

When we manage the EAP via the Omada Controller, we can set 8 kinds of portal, for this, you can refer to the following website:https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/896/

Because other portals like Voucher, Facebook, they need the Omada Controller. So we can only set three kinds of portal when we manage the EAP in standalone mode.

Local Password means you can define the password when you set the portal, and the clients need to input the password when they connect to the SSID.

No Authentication means the clients needn't input password when you connect to the SSID. You just click login and then you can access the internet.
