I suggest you to ask TP-Link Support for help. They should pay attention to the freeze problem.

SFP connection doesn't work with other switches because of bad auto-negotiation in tplink switches, or smth like this. Update firmware to the latest one and change speed/duplex of SFP to 1000M/Auto or 1000M/Full in case of what option will work. Cheers.
