I have just bought a TP Link T2600G-28MPS switch for my home/small business network. It replaced an old Netgear 16 port switch I had. 

 

The type of hardware being connected is:

• Sky boxes
• Synology NAS
• Apple Airport extreme
• Smart TVS and blu ray players
• Hifi systems
• POE security cameras

 

The switch is doing its job fine, all stuff on my network is connected etc. Problem is I cannot access the GUI from my Macbook pro. I have tried using Chrome with the Macbook connected via ethernet directly to the switch, but it says connection timed out. I am using the IP address 192.168.0.1. I am not a network expert! Thanks

Hi Matts:

    If you restart T2600G, could you access the web UI? Normally, there are two reason may caused this issue:

   1. 192.168.0.1 be changed.  You need reset T2600G to the defaut factory setting. You can find more infomraiton about reset switch from FAQ

       in Tp-Link Website.

  2. The web UI of T2600G is Hang. If you restart the switch, you will access the Web  UI.  Please upgrade the firmware. You can find latest firmware of T2600G from

     TP-Link  Website also.
