How to configure VLAN on TL-SG2428P with Vigor router

I am planning to create multiple networks on my office to secure different department.  Cause my Draytek Vigor router has different VLAN setting method from TP link TL-SG2428P, at first I am lost but when I search related documents online, I figure it out finally.

 

Network Layout

Background:

All TP-link switch work in Standalone mode via WEB GUI

 

Configuration

1. Configure VLAN interface on Vigor router

Go to LAN >> General Setup to configure multiple LAN interface, LAN 3 192.168.10.1/24 and other LAN interface for VLAN20&30. Then please go to LAN >> VLAN, enable it, check downlink port 2, subnet as LAN3, VID as VLAN10 and then click OK to save settings.

2. Configure VLAN on main switch TL-SG2428P

1)Go to L2 Features>>VLAN>>802.1Q VLAN>>VLAN Config, click Add, create VLAN10, tagged uplink port 16 and downlink port 3 for TL-SG2218

2)Create VLAN20, tagged uplink port 16, tagged downlink port 4&6&10 for Ubiquity AP and port 3 for TL-SG2218Create VLAN20, tagged uplink port 16, tagged downlink port 4&6&10 for Ubiquity AP and port 3 for TL-SG2218

3)Create VLAN30, tagged uplink port 16, tagged downlink port 4&6&10 for Ubiquity AP and port 3 for TL-SG2218, untagged port 2 for Deco M5. Then please go to L2 Features>>VLAN>>802.1Q VLAN>Port Config, select port 2, change the PVID to 30,click apply.

 

 

 Please keep in mind that once you finish all configuration on the TL-SG2428P, you need to click Save on the corner.
