Band 41 unavailability problem (Vodafone idea) in all 3G/4G routers in india
hello community members, unavailability of band 41 specially in Vodafone idea (India), seems to applicable on all current 4g routers as per community members...
further analyzing problem i found that, while inserting sim in smartphone, i was able to detect that band 41 was available in my area.
but it was not detecting in tp link router....
so now i started to research about what frequency range MR100 supports for band 41, and i found that it was, 2555-2655MHz .
The problem was somewhat coming due to huge frequency range that was not supported by 3G/4G router..
Now i dig more into this and found out that, in India the government has set the whole different range for band41 which was 2500-2690MHz
so the part of this frequency range was covered by tp link router....
To find exact bands that were being provided by my service tower i accessed government, website tarang sanchar, https://tarangsanchar.gov.in/EMFPortal/Home
and find that, band 41 was used by the tower also,
and for finding exact frequency i downloaded CELLULAR-PRO app...
and the result was,
so i was using frequency 2545 mhz for connecting to band 41 on mobile..
i contacted TP-Link and got reply that, it is a hardware limitation, but it will be solved in future in new products...
HOPING TP-LINK WILL RESOLVE THIS ISSUE IN FUTURE, THANKS..
