Unable to upload map to EAP Controller

When I login to the windows-based EAP controller software (version 2.4.7) and click "configure maps" on the maps tag, a box appears with "Default" listed twice. When I click "Add" to upload my map some words and a browse button very briefly appears but instantly disappears. Its impossible to click the browse button quickly enough. Thus I cannot upload a new map.
I tried deleting the two Default maps but that didn't solve the problem. I tried disabling all browser plugins on Firefox. I also tried it on Chrome and Internet Explorer.
This would appear to be a bug. Is there a workaround or some other way to upload a new map?

Yes, it's a known and nasty bug. For me it works if I log out and in again. Then the duplicate Default map appears only once. Next, I add my map first before deleting the Default map.

Works for me with only a single site configured in the EAPC. As soon as more sites are defined, this problem with the maps starts to happen frequently.

I remain the Default map, and click on the map configuration to add my own map. Try to add the second and third, seems smoothly and nothing wrong. Well, my map is small and takes little memory.

That's fine. However, the bug is not related to a certain order in uploading maps as you can see here with the default map of a brand-new site:
It also appears that already installed maps are listed twice.

Thanks for your input.
I managed to upload a map after creating a new site and adding the map to that new site. It appears that I could not add a map to the default site?

Try to delete the default map on the default site. This will create a new default map. Log out, log back in, upload new map. Did work for me, but now it shows the same map twice in the menu.
