Hi, I want to transmit my internet connection with 100mb of speed for a distance of 1.70km, with about 400m distance with trees. Now i have two access points of another brand with a 16dbi power (SXT 5HPnD), But since the frequency is 5GHZz, so I only have 15MB due due to trees. So, what setup do you recommend ???

sory for my english
Greetings, Nelson Pereira

Do you have any TP-Link products? The primary Fresnel zone is required to be at least 60% clear of any obstruction to ensure the highest performance of wireless link. See pic.

2.4Ghz and 5Ghz both have a tough time passing through trees. You'd better install and mount it as high as possible.

Now I have mikrotik products and I think of buying TP-Link products soon, but I don´t know which frequency is a better (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz) and I already have it installed and mounted as high as possible.

Depends on wether the 2.4 GHz band is already overcrowded or sparsely used in your area and on free LoS. 2.4 GHz might be better if there are obstacles such as foliage, but 5 GHz gives you more (and non-overlapping) channels while its radio signals are not as pervasive as 2.4 GHz if trees are in between.
