TP-LINK TL-SF1008D 8-port Switch | Distance of work
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a problem when the PCs are connected to an switch TP-LINK TL-SF1008D 8-port with a 20 meters Cat5e UTP cable to a Linksys EA6200 ETH1 port. This does not work, packets are lost and not navigated.
The EA6200 recognizes IPs and macaddress but does not work.
If connect it with short cable of one meter with all the equipments near works in perfect conditions and being united by a single ETH port of the Linksys.
By the field tests I understand that the problem lies in the 20 meter cable between the TPLINK switch and the Linksys EA6200.
I would like to consult them if they can confirm this and what is the maximum distance. Solutions. Help!
Best regards.
