Need Assistance with Port Forwarding
Region : UnitedStates
Model : TL-ER6120
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.0.5 Build 20130314 Rel.56468
ISP : Cox Communication
This may be a pretty basic question, but I've become lost in the TP-Link Router. I'm trying to configure port forwarding for devices from WAN to LAN. An example would be RDP port (3389) to Desktop IP (192.168.0.1) from WAN to LAN. I've configured the Firewall Access Control Access Rules portion to include RDP as a service. Source Any, Destination 192.168.0.1/32, Allow, Interface WAN, Always.
However, I attempt to access from outside of the network, and I am being blocked.
I've verified WAN IP addresses are correct, I can connect to the internet just fine, I can ping 192.168.0.1 from the router. But I cannot seem to allow access from the outside to the specific ports.
I know I am missing something so simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
