Model : CPE210
Hardware Version : V2
Firmware Version : 20160705-rel52453
ISP : Telekom Austria
Hello,
I like to extend my home network.
Situation now:
Modem -> old Netgear WNR3500 Router (acts as AP and DHCP Server) -> Computer1/Notebooks/Smartphones
Now,I need WLAN in a second house (about 50m away).
It this possible with only one CPE210 at the 2nd House connected to archer c7?
I bought one, buy I can't configure it with the CPE210 connected to a PC... Message: No Internet! I have some Problem with the DHCP.
Tried with: Brige, Repeater and Client.
With Static IP ( Router. 192.168.0.1, CPE210: 192.168.0.254)
With Dynamic IP
Dymapic IP and DHCP Fallback (192.168.0.1 AND/OR 192.168.0.254)
subnet always: 255.255.255.0
CPE210 shows good connection (3 of 4 lights) but nothing happend.... no connection/no IP on end-device
At the End, it shoult look like this:
Modem -> old Netgear WNR3500 Router(AP and DHCP Server) -----------------------------------------> CPE210 -> Archer c7 -> some Wlan Devices
Archer C7 works fine as wlan repeater on Netgear Router Network... should be no problem to change to CPE210 Network
I hope you can help me configure the CPE210 :-(

CPE210 mode client
IP Static 192.168.0.50
Gateway 192.168.0.1
Connect the cable to the WAN port
Archer mode router
LAN IP 192.168.100.100
DHCP 192.168.100.101 - 192.168.100.130
Adress lease time 2880
yes, thats the right changes I made.
there is only the DNS Problem if I reboot the CPE:
Only 1 Problem left:
If I restart the CPE, I get "no DNS!"
If I restart the Router (192.168.0.1) again, I get the DNS on CPE back and can surf.
Is there an easy solution?
i won't restart de main router after starting the CPE each time

Hi!
for your CPE210
* update to latest firmware
* static IP = 192.168.0.254
* gateway = 192.168.0.1
* primary DNS = 192.168.0.1
* secondary DNS = 8.8.8.8
for your Archer C7
* reset to factory default
* static ip = 192.168.0.253
* turn OFF DHCP
* plug LAN cable from CPE210 to one of the LAN ports in the archer c7
i think this should do the trick
