In the future it would support Linux. I just asked before and get answer from TP-Link support. Maybe controller 3.x.x

Are there some news about EAP Controller for Linux?
It would be also nice if there will be a possibility to install EAP controler on an existing PFsense or OpenWRT System, so I can minimize the number of running systems by saving energie.

Probably compatible with Debian family or Fedora family, using apt or rpm package management.
The official version on the website still 2.4.x. So 3.x may not come out so quickly. But seems they are developing, it will finally come.
