Sure yes for hotspot.
For Pharos Control, it can be used to upgrade firmware, reboot, modify wireless settings, monitor the status of all the devices simultaneously and frequently, etc

As I know, CPE has no 'captive portal' function, while TP-Link's EAP series products have 'captive portal' function.
EAP is business indoor AP, so unsimilar as CPE, you can not put it exposed outside with no shelter...

Yes sir. I know.
But i not sure that i understand what the equipment does. Are you trying to tell me that the CPE510 is only for backhauls?
And that i will need other rooters to set up the hotspot?

And if you know, Why you want to deploy in the 5Ghz band, only iPhones 5, 6 & 6 plus iPads & new generation Androids, Mac Laps and Windows Laps with 5Ghz USBs are going to link to your hotspot, is That what you really want, if not choose 2.4 Ghz devices, everyone will connect, old & new generation devices

I was thinking about the range. I did read that 5 Ghz equipment has smaller range than 2.4 but on the tp-link site they say that the CPE510 can transmit over 5km ever 15km. That is why i am interesting in 5ghz equipment. By the way i am know expert i just trying to understand and learn and see if i can come up with a little project. Thank you for helping.
