The steps that i do are:
1) try to give the hostname or ip address to the smtp server also with ssl or without (i try all the methods)
2) configure the authentication username & password from my gmail account
3) Save
4) When come back to the tab with smtp server authentication i see that the username and password change to the admin and password that i configure for the EAP Controller.
So my question is how the mail account will authenticated to the gmal so it can send notifications???
I use the lastest version of the EAP controller.
Thank you.

When you get into the register interface, you just choose "forget password?" then it will need you "Enter your email to reset your password". You can see by yourself.
