TL-SG3424P QOS for Voip phones issue

I have the following:
TELUS ISP
TL-ER5120 router
TL-SG3424P switch
Polycom VVX-500 VOIP phones
I ave an issue where during high network usage (upload specifically) I will ocasionally get a dropped word or some distortion on the line.
I have attempted to set up the QOS for the switch to prioritize this traffice, however I am still ahving issues.
I have set the following:
QOS>Port Config >'Cos 6' for the Voip phones
Schedule mode set to SP mode
Please advise.
