Hi., My name is Rui from Portugal.
I am setting up a link to my daughters house and I have a few questions, for wich I ask for your knowledge.
I have it working, but with very low speeds and problems with IP assignements.
This is my setup:
At home I have:
Vodafone Technicolor router with LAN port 4 connected to a TP-Link TL WA7210n mounted in the rooftop. I am in a very high building. It is setup as an Acess Point in channel 11 bgn mixed, channel width auto 27 Dbm, distance setting 0.9 and a fixed ip. DHCP Disabled.
At my daughters I have:
TP-Link TL WA7210n mounted in the rooftop, in line of sight 900m away It is setup as Bridge with AP 11 bgn mixed, channel width auto 27 Dbm, distance setting 0.9 and a fixed ip in the same range as mine. DHCP Disabled. In Antenna alignment I get 70% with RSSI at 30.
This connected to a LAN port of a wireless router, Asus WL-500G Premium V2 with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) mega - build 14896 setup as AP Mixed Channel 1 DHCP enabled.
I access the web interface of all devices from home. I live in a city probably with many people using Wi-Fi.
The problem is I get very low speeds, under 1Mb, using the speed test on the TP-Link's web interface and the Asus did not manage accept wireless connections before I turned on it's DHCP. Now it does and for example smartphones connect easily and access the internet.
A PC connected to another LAN por of that ASUS does not manage to access the net.
So I have 2 problems. Very low speeds and no net on the LAN ports of the ASUS.
Should I change the IP settings, DHCP server, or am I missing something here.
What I need is to have wireless in my daughters house and also she being able to access my printers and shared folders.
Can you give me some advice?
Thanks in advance.

Any ip you set between 50&254 it's wrong, cause you are in DHCP pool of ISP router because set ips in this range 2 to 49 any Numbers you like beteeen those
