Looking for AP/bridge advice
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have used Ubiquiti's Bullets for WIFI internet access on my boat and am tired of having them brick. I have purchased my last Bullet, but now I need something to replace my current POS.
Specifically what I need is a wireless "box" that I can attach my current antenna via a type N to rp-SMA 6' cable that will serve as the WAN input. That "box" will be able to search for broadcast WIFI signals........11n is not needed although nice but b&g are important. The signals received should show SSIDs, MACs and signal strength and allow selection of one of those found. Finally the "box" will communicate via wireless to up to a minimum of 5 clients.
OK, I learned some buzz words but I am no expert by any means.
Thanks--
Foggy
