Model: TL-SG3428
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.10

Hey there,

I'm a little confused....

On the back of my switch(es) it says model # SG3428(UN) Ver:2.30

In Omada controller I had a firmware upgrade available and now my switches are called TL-SG3428 v2.0 with firmware 2.0.10.

Is this bad?

Everything seems normal so far...

But now I couldnt upgrade to

TL-SG3428v2_en_2.0.11_[20230602-rel76586]

nor

SG3428v2_en_2.30.7_[20250307-rel72795]

Any ideas?

This is fine and expected, they changed the model names and version numbers of some switches a while ago in a previous firmware update.  The controller knows what firmware goes with what, dont worry about it

The hardware version change (2.30 > 2.00) is permenant and of no consequence

Main: ER8411 x1, SG3428X x1, SG3452 x1, SG2428LP x1, SG3210 x1, SG2218P x1, SG2008P x1, ES205G x2, EAP650 x6 Remotes: ER605 v2 x3, SG2008P x2, EAP650 x2 VPN Server: ER7206 v2 Controller: OC300
