Model: ER7212PC
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20250220 Rel.67749

Hi,

for the last couple days , my ER7212PC which is configured with 8 VLANs and one WAN, keeps facing routing problem between VLANs, and inability to access internet . in other words general routing issue. and it intermittent. sometimes pinging and routing properly, and othertimes (or most of the times) not pinging at all ... I am connected by cable ethernet to ER7212PC, and I cant ping anything except for ER7212PC VLANs gateway IPs (e.g. 10.100.x.1).
I did reboot, problem get resolved for few minutes then return back. so I did facotry reset (twice), and as soon as I configure the VLANs, and while everything is working fine, the problem arrises again.
I am using latest firmware 1.3.1 Build 20250220 Rel.67749 (V1)
I got crazy .... my Mac Mini IP is 10.100.10.10, I can ping anything on same VLAN, but I cannt ping any other machine on different VLAN, such as 10.100.50.2.
then after few minutes, all pings work normaly for few minutes, then again without any ping.
lets ignore that I cannot ping WAN IPs (such as google dns 8.8.8.8), but why I cant ping local VLANs machines, which all are directly connected to ER7212PC other ports with different PVID (50, 60) ????

anyone else is facing similar problem ???

Hi @demir-deniz

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Then, a diagram to describe your network?

It only happened a few days ago, so what did you add to the network or change anything? It cannot fail without a change.

And you cannot ping from 10.100.10.0 to 10.100.50.0, do you have any ACLs?

No one faces a similar problem recently, nor in the test I have had with the ER7212PC. Provide more details, and let's see.

please excuse me guys ... after posting the above issue, I discovered that my ER7212PC router was under DDoS attack, and ER7212PC with standard settings kept hanging and rebooting non-stop till I disconnect the WAN port. so I enabled Flood Defense, and after some tuning I managed to keep ER7212PC alive during the non-stop DDoS attack.
