ER707-M2 - Not getting Dynamic IP

Hi,
I recently procured the XZ005-G6(UN) 1.0 - 1-Port 2.5GE LAN XPON Terminal. My ISP is JIO. Previously, I was using the XZ000-G3 V1, which successfully authenticated with JIO's OLT (ALCL). However, the new XZ005-G6 fails to authenticate, preventing the ER707-M2 from detecting an IP. The registration status consistently shows "Registered (05)," but there is no data in the upstream. The SoC on the XZ005-G6 is Realtek RTL9601D.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Clive_A I believe I have already mentioned the issue with the XZ000-G6. It has a compatibility problem with ALCL (Nokia) OLT. Other ONT models like the XZ000-G3 work just fine with the same ISP.
There are two parameters that must be present in the ONT — "Main software version" and "Standby software version" — in order to authenticate with the ALCL OLT. I don’t see any such options on the XZ000-G6.
I hope you now understand the problem.
No, I don't. What does it relate to the router? You marked your model as ER707-M2.
And the router never has such options like ALCL.
And like you wrote, it is the modem prevents you from the connection.

And I think you are asking this in the wrong place. XZ000-G6 is NOT a product that is under our support. This is Omada (products) forum. NOT a service provider support channel.
Go and contact the person who gave you the ISP-grade products. Either your ISP or the sales where you purchased it from.

Hi @Arunabha
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
The registration shows "registered". Is that supposed to mean the fiber to the ISP server is registered?
I assume that the router has not successfully connected to the ISP.
What's the ISP-provided connection type? And do you select the proper connection type on the WAN?
You should also investigate how your modem works. Make sure the physical links are proper as well.

@Clive_A Everything works fine when I change the ONT model to XZ000-G3. It seems there is some authetication issue with ISP OLT when I have XZ005-G6. May be XZ005-G6 has some compatibility issue with ALCL OLT.

That is to say, the ISP and the modem got a problem?
If you want to dig into this, you can use Wireshark.

@Clive_A The TP-Link ONT XZ005-G6 has a problem. Any other ONT works fine with my ISP.

Any plan from TP-Link to release a new firmware for XZ000-G6 for ALCL OLT authentication issue?
Thank you.

Hi @Arunabha
I don't even understand your last reply and what did that mean there is a problem with that modem.

Why would we release a firmware about what issue you have with this specific modem?
I am totally lost. You did not provide any further details about the "problem" you raised. I don't see what I can do.
If there is a problem with your ISP, you might wanna see what they can do.
