ACL, NAT, mDNS, Wireguard settings do not show values previously saved
ACL, NAT, mDNS, Wireguard settings do not show values previously saved

Hi there,
In one of my site I've a ER7412-M2 v1.20.
My controller is an OC200 v1.0 (1.34.2 Build 20250110 Rel.75707 Stable).
I've previously setup:
- Gateway ACLs
- mDNS
- Wireguard client to site
All the above works flowless but I just notice that if I go to site settings --> ACL or mDNS or Wireguard lists are empty.
I can confirm ACL roules, mDNS services and the Wireguard connection are still working.
Rebooting the controller and/or the router hasen't solved the issue.
I have similar settings in another site but with an ER-605 V2, and in the settings, the related lists appear with the correct values.
Edit: After a more thorough control, it seems that same isssue is affecting all my sites.
Has anybody expirienced anything similar?
Many thanks in advance!

Hi @usefulnoise
If you configured them before you adopt it to the controller, it will be erased.

Don't believe it. OC200 V1 with the official release?
After you configure all of them, they disappear from the site where you created the settings? From what timestamp did you notice this?
What do you have in the audit log?
Run in CLI and see if you have created any of the NAT or ACL entries?
I assume you don't have any readings from the CLI, which means these were never saved.

EDIT @ 10:38 (UTC) 28/03/25: more details, screens and context
Yes, OC with official release:
Gateway was adopted and then configured around January the 15th.
Once I configured the client everting works flawless.
In early February I got a notification to upgrade my controller to 1.34.2 Build 20250110 Rel.75707 which I did.
After the upgrade I didn't check all my sites configuration, everything was still working
A couple of weeks ago I discovered ACL, NAT, mDNS and Wireguard lists were empty.
Audit logs goes back only to 7 days:
And AFAICS the only information I get is about the login events.
This is the screens from the CLI commands, you can see ACLs are correcly listed:
One thing I've noticed after latest OC upgrade is that in Device --> Configuration Result some feature seems to be incompatible, could be related?
BTW, no way I had added in this router more than 128 ACLs in the past
After a more thorough control, it seems that same isssue is affecting all my sites.
Thanks

You said that it affects all of your sites, does that mean anything related to the AP or switch is not listed?
I assume it could be a problem with the controller. Something malfunctions in the controller instead of the router as you can see the CLI can still read the config from the router.
That means the configs are still effective and available on them.
Strange enough with the controller.
You can also rule out that this is not a browser cache issue?
Let me see what our dev(router) thinks. In my view, it seems to be a controller issue.

Not as far as I can see.

I agree whit you.

Yes, new session in incognito mode lead to the same results.

Ok thanks.
Please consider that, contrary to what I stated in my 1st post, NAT rules are visible on all my routers, they simply had not been set yet on the ER7412-M2.
Have a nice day!

If you describe this only happening at the sites with ER7412-M2, it might be a problem with the controller.
I asked this with the test team and they think this is not a problem with the router but with the controller.
The config seems to be lost somehow, which you can consider a problem with the controller losing the config.

It's happening in all my sites (in addition to the one with ER7412-M2 I've two of them with ER605 v2.0 Firmware 2.2.6 Build 20240718 Rel.82712 and one with TL-R605 v1.0 Firmware 1.3.1 Build 20231207 Rel.61384).
If the problem is in the controller (OC200 1.0 Firmware 1.34.2 Build 20250110 Rel.75707) can you kindly:
- move this 3d in the appropriate section
- help me resolve this issue

The thread is moved.
The issue is with this OC200, all the config was lost without touching the device or any settings recently. The settings on all sites disappear for no reason. All routers on the controller were affected.
Router dev has reviewed this and thinks the controller somehow malfunctions and is losing all the config.
