Hello,

I've just bought and connected my SG3216, and so far so good. I have my ISP's router connected to Port 1. What I would like to do is to be able to block specific MAC address(es) from accessing the Internet (Port 1). Before I bought the switch I did read over the manual and with my limited understanding I assumed I could do this.

However, now I have the hardware in front of me I'm confused as to how it should be done, assuming it is even possible! If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate your help.

Hello Ada,

Thank you for the reply. I am sure that the Access Control could do what I need I just lack the understanding in how to configure it.

So if you, or any other member could assist me with the steps I need to implement this that would would be very useful.

Hello.

OK, I've implemented this now by following the FAQ ID 402 and applying the logic to MAC based ACL.
