Help with dot1q trunk links to cisco router
Region : Argentina
Model : TL-SG105E
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi there I hope you can help me with the following problem using TL-SG105E in a 8 VLAN setup with default VLAN ID of 50.
Basically my problem is how do I configure the dot1q trunk links for multiple vlans between the devices so they can be terminated at the cisco router that has a switch port assigned to trunking with dot1q encapulation as I can't set a port to trunk mode?
I am confident in how to setup vlans and trunk links on cisco hardware, but I can't get my head around the tplink way of doing things as trunking on these switches is what I know as port aggregation (multiple ports ganged together for higher bandwidth).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Jim
