Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 5.0.1 Build 20240418 Rel.51164

Hi,

In my network I have a SG2210MP switch with 2 vlans, vlan 1 as default VLAN and vlan 30 has management.

I have created an interface in vlan 30, with the L3 on the firewall. The switch receives an IP address via DHCP from vlan 30.

This means for me that the uplink towards the coreswitch is fine.

From the firewall in vlan 30 I am able to ping the switch on his vlan 30 IP address, even I am able to access the switch via SSH

However via the webbrowser it's not working. When connected to the subnet of vlan1 (default) the browser access to the switch is working.

Is there something that I need to enable? It's not clear for me why the web browser access is not working in vlan30 but in vlan1 its working.

Thanks for your feedback

Regards,

In standalone mode, the switch cannot be configured with a default gateway so it has no idea how to send its own traffic, or any traffic that it routes out to other vlans.  A direct connection will work if you are on that vlan, but it wont cross to another vlan

If you want to access its GUI on any switch interface from any vlan, you need to add a static route on it

0.0.0.0 / 0.0.0.0 > whatever your management vlan gateway IP is

Thanks for your feedback - apparantly when I connected my pc directly to the switch instead of connected via wifi in the same vlan it worked.

Afterwards disconnect the cable and back on the wifi it work fine now.

Now I want to connect the Omada controller - put it in the same vlan 30 on the switch (before it was in vlan 1). It receives an IP address from my firewall however I can't ping the device, or have access anymore. Tried already to follow the steps to reset it, but without success.
