Samsung TV not connecting to wifi
Samsung TV not connecting to wifi
I have a problem connecting my Samsung TV to my wifi network. All other devices work fine, no exception.
Setup;
ER605, SG2210P with wired EAP670 and wired EAP650 Outdoor and mesh EAP653.
Single vlan, DNS running on Synology NAS
What I tried;
Tried single band SSID (2.4 and 5)
Remove wifi password to rule out password issue (as TV says password is incorrect, but definitely correct)
Removed all wifi SSIDs and recreated them
Remove EAP653 (mesh)
Connect EAP670 directly to ER605 to rule out switch
Have an old Google wifi AP lying around and connected it to the switch in bridge mode, so gets DHCP from ER605 (IP4 and IP6) and TV works flawlessly.
Any ideas on how to get the TV connected to the EAPs?
Thanks in advance for any help.

hard to say since you haven't shown us any of the configuration you have on ssid. do you have a controller or is it in stand alone setup? in controller mode you create ssid with default settings on everything except ssid name and password and see if it works.

@MR.S I have a controller in docker.
current ssid config below, just a note that I tried all WPA modes and single band setup andfactory reset the AP's

Ok, try to make an SSID exactly like this exept SSID :-) this is default settings when create a SSID
Have you done any configuration in site settings under Wireless Features?

@MR.S Tried it again, something I already did before :-) Unfortunately it doesn't work. Even tried to set the IP address manually on the TV when trying to connect, without luck. Even security set to none doesn't work.
I toggled most of the settings off on the site settings as well, below current settings:

very strange, I have several samsung tvs in different networks and there has never been any problem with them, even my own tv from 2012 works on wifi,
how is the Beacon Control settings then? is it like this on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz?

@MR.S thanks for your help.
the setting for the beacon was on auto, changed that to 100ms, but still no luck. The TV is new and knowing that WiFi works when connecting to Google WiFi AP. Not sure what else I can do. Will also try to contact Samsung, but I bet they will point to tp-link.

I don't know what it could be, what about the firmware on the access point and TV, are they up to date?

@MR.S all latest versions.
I think I toggled every setting for AP's and switch. Not sure what it can be.
