It's SD-WAN that I've been looking forward to the most, so hopefully it will come to the other routers in beta soon.
Too bad you had problems with your upgrade, hopefully a fix will come pretty soon.

To downgrade to the previous version, you can use the roll-back function from the Router console, SSH into the router and run the roll-back.

Update my remote site that has very few clients and a handful of PF rules. But they push a ton of bandwidth. Very basic setup. They peak at 2-3GBPS hourly.
I upgraded the 8411 through the controller. I uploaded the new firmware into the firmware section and updated it. So I can roll it back if need be.
No issues so far, with 5.15.20.12 Linux controller.

Wow, that update was absoluty in the right moment. Just bought the ER8411 and was not really happy because the fan was freuqnetly spinning on and noisy. It was the sfp+ module. Since i updated to this firmware no problems. it is quiet and keeps quiet staying about 70 grad celsius. Thank you very much

Hello,
After upgrade to 1.3.0 my IP TV services stopped working, i have two STB (diff manufacturer) and both couldnt get started.
Had to downgrade to 1.2.3 and all started to work again :(
Please look into it b4 releasing this as stable, since this is crucial service with Omada ecosystem for me.

Updated to 1.3.0 without any issue by using the 'Firmware' section in Global view. Had to rollback the firmware cause I had issues with inter-vlan routing and couldn't figure it out but the rollback feature doesn't work, I tried 3 times and it failed. I had to go with the How to use the Emergency Mode to recover the firmware for Omada Gateways way and it worked like a charm.
So the inter-vlan routing problem.. I updated without changing any config at all and after the update my Home vlan (10) was not able to reach any URL/ip address from my network (I use NPM as reverse proxy). The only way that it worked is if I disable the ACL rule that prevents my Home network to communicate with my Default network. With the 1.2.3 version everything works but with 1.3.0 it doesn't work and couldn't figure it out so I'll wait for the stable version or a new update for EA and try it again. Is there a new feature that could cause this ?
Also the temps that are shown from the gateway are not accurate at all. Before the update (1.2.3) my temps were in the 60-62C, after the update (1.3.0) they were like 75-77C !! And the fan doesn't kick in at these temps wich I find odd since they kick in when the temps reach 65C with the 1.2.3 version.
On the good side, I tried the Content filter feature and that's pretty nice to have and works well. The LAN DNS works well too. Didn't try the other features cause the wife and kids couldn't access Plex from the TV or phones so had to go back to 1.2.3.

Hello @Clive_A
I've asked few month ago about Virtual Interface for OpenVPN/WG client connections.
it was announced in Omada 5.15, but this new firmware is still does not support OpenVPN interface ((
PPTP/L2TP only...
P.S. Can someone help me with the next routing task:
Example: I have OpenVPN Client established
ID Name WAN Local IP Remote IP Up Bytes Down Bytes Up Time
1 OpenVPN WAN/LAN6 10.180.1.6 10.180.1.5 499065 150175 0 days 5 hours 4 mins
I need 199.188.177.0/24 network to be routed through OpenVPN interface.
It is simply can be done with PPTP/L2TP Client interface. But I can't found/create OpenVPN Client interface.. ((
If it could not be used for the routing -- what the reason for OpenVPN Client existance??
P.P.S. 24 hours of testing results:
8411 GREATLY IMPROVED CPU Efficiency!!! Previous firmware had unbelievable LAGS while disconnecting-connecting WAN! All traffic could be freezed fot ~2 minutes! Especially PPPoE reconnecting - it could caused 5 minutes traffic freezing! 1.3.0 fw SOLVED this great problem, THANKS alot to programmers!
8411 poor CPU (algorythm) efficiency is solved!
As the result of improved CPU efficiency is FASTER rebooting. Much more faster NTP (getting Time from inet), Online detection, L2TP connection! enabling Routing Policies - everything is going really faster! All my "disappointing" by 8411 that been slower than old 6120 model are gone now! All I need from the next firmware is OpenVPN client interface for 100% of satisfaction =)
Best Regards.
If you cannot comprehend a feature, and think it is unnecessary, you can simply skip our product.
Every feature listed is for someone on the market to use. We have contract users and they are the mainstream and the force to push us forward.
Policy Routing for the VPN tunnel, I have clearly listed them on the request page. Development is not only for a single person but for the general public.
If you cannot wait for the firmware development, you can find alternative solutions.
The schedule to optimize the boot time and other areas was announced. I asked for the backup from users before, only two users replied. Omada Router Adoption Optimization - Collecting Backup for Test
Looks like no one cares and sits and waits for the optimization. 😑

Im having MAJOR issues with this
It will not route traffic to and from switch only vlans, with all the same static routes on the switches and router as i had on 1.2.3
EG
Switch SVI 192.168.10.254 (vlan 10)
Switch Static Route 0.0.0.0/0 > 192.168.2.254 (router interface) (vlan 2)
Gateway Static Route 192.168.10.0/24 > 192.168.2.253 (Switch SVI on the router interface) (vlan 2)
NO TRAFFIC ON VLAN 10. THIS WAS WORKING FINE UP TO 1.2.3
Set client gateways to the router IP - traffic as normal
Setup a test vlan switch only, it seems ALL static routes on the gateway do not function at all. Routes from the switches get as far as the getway and ann stop there. From outside via WAN (i opened up NAt to a device) traceroute ends at the gateway. Also, My Static route for VPN traffic to my VPN server, which is a seperate IP on the main vlan, also did not work.
BONUS
I cannot roll back firmware either in controller or standalone to 1.2.3 - "Upgrade file invalid", even after a factory reset.
EDIT
I was able to roll back to 1.2.3 from the firmware recovery procedure only which was a total pain, but i got there in the end. All back up and running, and static routes working again
Regarding this, I might need a backup from you.
You can send an email with the backup. I will look into it.

@Clive_A I'm unable to select WAN Interface for the Virtual WAN even though I have 3 WAN ports configured.
What's the exact controller version do you have? With this firmware and the proper PR controller firmware on the forum, you cannot select it?
