eap 225 showing as disconnected on OC 200 and losing connection constantly
Had this issue a few times now on a few different sites
Eap 225 version 4 firmware 5.1.6, switch SG2428P v5.30 , ER605 Router , OC 200
june last year we have had a site that had 12 ap's and had an issue where access points would show as disconnected on the OC 200 they still had a green light on the ap but they would not give out an SSID or give out wifi , if i performed a poe recovery via the switch the device would reboot and reconnect to the OC200 and work again but a few days later the same thing would happen again to differnt access points , i would have to repeat the same process on the affected devices . WE SOLVED THIS ISSUE WITH CHANGING THE 0C 200 AND THE ER605 ROUTER AND THE ISSUE DID NOT RETURN TO THIS SITE .
NOW NEARLY A YEAR LATER WE HAVE ANOTHER SITE WITH THE SAME ISSUE ......
SAME SET UP 5 x EAP 225 VERSION 4 /OC 200 / ER605 ROUTER ( VERSION OF ROUTER IRRELEVANT AS THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR NOW )
We have changed the existing Ubiquiti switch to a t p link switch SG2210P v5.20 so its all T P Link equipment im wondering if the issue is a poe issue but i only have 5 x eap 225s and an OC200 on the switch which has 8 ports poe and 2 sfp ports
Why are these devices disconnecting ?
All devices will be connected all ok then one will disconnect again every few days after i have used poe recovery.
To be fair we have mutliple sites with no issues with as many or many more aps than this one but it is only this site we have the issue with at the miunte
Any feedback or tips would be greatly appreciated
We go today and are changing the router as a last resort i will post after to see if this solves the issue
