Release Notes

1. Added support for Radius logout and CHAP encryption in Standalone mode.

2. Added support for portal landing page selection in Standalone mode.

3. Added support for wired client traffic reporting of accelerated models.

4. Added support for modifying the Inform URL in SSH.

5. Modified the default list of NTP Servers.

6. Optimized the AP portal function.

7. Optimized the management VLAN : only untagged and vlan1 address management packets can pass through when set to default.

8. Optimized the configuration logic and improved the configuration efficiency.

9. Upgraded the OpenSSL library version to 1.1.1n.

10. Added the EAP power information to LLDP messages.

11. Updated the Uboot function.

12. Resolved the issue of high air interface occupancy rate in large-scale deployment scenarios.

13. Resolved the issue that modifying the PPSK without radius profile affected other SSIDs.

14. Resolved the random restart problem of EAP620 HDv3.

I personally gave up yesterday on my two EAP610v3 devices with random reboot issues (ticket 17423). I ordered two EAP653 and swapped the devices yesterday as I simply cannot deal with the unreliability of the EAP610s at this point. Hopefully the v3 device gets addressed in a new firmware within my 90 day return window for these EAP653s and I can try them again.

@RickRick123 Wish I had that option, my EAP610's are outdoor units, acting as mesh root's for distant networks, so I have no choice but to 'deal' with it, or use an EAP225 with reduced performance. There certainly seems to be a common thread here with the EAP610's.

This version is still undergoing internal procedures and hasn't been officially released on the website yet. However, it has been pushed via the cloud.

Please click the button below to check if the firmware is available for download.

- If an update exists, an arrow and the firmware version will appear next to the EAP613.
