How do I configure OpenVPN server on Omada 5.15.8.2 Controller to access LAN devices?

I have Omada controlling 2 different physical locations in our LAN network. We have many switches and AP's and end user devices. I am new to networking and have setup an OpenVPN server on Omada which I connect to from Ubuntu 24.04 using their openvpn3 client.
When I am connected to the VPN I am unable to ping any other network devices on the LAN.
I have been searching for more granular controls to configure the OpenVPN server but Omada doesn't offer that level of control from what I can find. I have been looking at firewall rules but they don't seem to be preventing access and ACL rules should be good as well.
Can you help me figure out a way to communicate with the devices on our local networks(printers, staff computers, etc)?
Thank you for your time and help!

Hi @scryptic
VPN is a router's feature.
If there is no Omada gateway adopted on the controller, all the VPN-related config won't take effective.
You may need to add an Omada gateway in your network.

Hi man,
I made 5 screenshots of my config, but I'm not able to upload here...
Let me know how can I send them to you.
Thank you,

I'm not quite sure what you want from your description, do you want to configure OpenVPN on the Omada controller or do you want to install OpeVPN on Ubuntu? To configure OpenVPN on the Omada controller you need an Omada router, I can't see that you have one.

I apologize for not including more specifics. We do have a VPN router at the other site and I believe that's what the connection is made through. The Omada controller is where I set up the VPN and added users.
The Omada gateway is the ER605 v1 at the second location.
