Hello, I am connected via a PPPoE connection with an assigned, static IP. I have a secondary connection via that PPPoE connection with a /29 network. I am trying to configure the DMZ in public mode, awarding the DMZ interface the first usable IP within the /29 but when I try to save the config it fails.
Can any one shed some light on this?

Cheers,

Dva

to use the public mode of DMZ, you need at least 3 public ip address; one for WAN one for DMZ and one for your server. Also, DMZ and server should be in the same sub-network

Thanks Golf...the /29 provides me with 5 usable addresses. In addition to that I have the single static which provides me with a total of 6 public ips. I tried awarding the network address to the DMZ but it won't accept a network address, it must be a host address.
