Region : UnitedStates

Model : TL-ER6120

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : 1.0.0 Build 20130116 Rel.52243s

ISP : COMCAST

Greetings;

I cannot get the send voice mail function of our NEC Apsire system to work with this router. It is using smtp.gmail.com port 465

I have set it up as the DMZ, no luck.
I have added port 465 as a service and turned all services on, still no luck.

When I replace this router with our old DD-WRT router, the NEC Aspire voice mail system sends emails correctly.

Any ideas?

Hi, jimdhaem

Try:

1) Update firmware on your TL-ER6120 to the latest available version;

2) Reset all configuration settings to their default values;

3) Enable H.323 ALG and SIP ALG on your TL-ER6120 router

See TP-Link TL-ER6120 User Guide -> ALG:

Weird WAN

The voice mail worked fine when correct port was opened and only one WAN was connected.

Voice mail will not work when both WANs are connected COMCAST on WAN1 and local wireless internet on WAN 2. When WAN 2 is connected voicemail works..

We wish to use WAN2 as a fail over only.

It is working now, but only when both WANs have an IP address, even though only WAN2 is a backup (fail over)
