ER706W LAG/LACP
for ER706W v1.0. I just found out now that it also doesn't have LAG feature. this is crucial for this gateway that has wifi built in. I wanted to LAG the 4 ports to my core switch so the devices connected to core swtich can still be accessed with a decent speed over wifi. how is that an afterthought when a gateway with built in wifi was designed ?

Hi @Pink_Waters,
I wouldn't call it an afterthought. Despite the 3Gbps theoretical max speed on AX3000 branded wifi products, you'll probably not get more than 1Gbps in the real world. Even TP-Link's stand alone AX3000 APs only have a 1GB port and only the AX3600 APs or better are using the multi-gig ports, presumably because they actually need it. Your wifi connection will likely be the bottleneck between your wired and wireless devices with or without a LAG.

Thanks for your input, I had a similar unifi setup before with AX3000 APs that I was getting over 1gpbs from on the clients. I have a bunch of clients with wide channel support in close proximity to the gateway and the area has almost no interference. So I wouldn't say the scenario is very theriotical.
