Hi,

I have a WAN connection with several public IPs (28 subnet). I have configured the WAN2 like:

IP: 82.216.XXX.242

SM: 255.255.255.240
GW: 82.216.XXX.141

I then added all IPs (like 82.216.XXX.243, 82.216.XXX.244, 82.216.XXX.245, etc.) as WAN IP alias adresses.

Then, under "Transmission" "NAT" I added some port forwardings. I have port 10000 to be forwarded on the main IP (82.216.XXX.242). Hence, I left the "WAN IP" selection empty.

When trying to add another port forwarding for the same port, but selecting another WAN IP (82.216.XXX.243) I get the error "The source port already exists for the chosen interface(s). Please change the source port.".

I even tried to set another WAN IP for my first port forwarding. Simply, so that a WAN IP is selected and that this field is not empty. Same result.

Is this a bug? Anything I did wrong?

  @Honkman Just tried the new ER7412-M2 (current firmware) . Same result. This is a business device that is not able to handle this simple thing.

I found another thread in the forum stating that the device is able to do it but the Omada controller is not. At first i thought this is a joke ... Anyhow. Sending back the device. Sticking with my Drayteks.

A lot of time spent for nothing.

  @Honkman Found this post: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/653114D

Does that mean, the 605 can't handle that?

Why is it possible to configure it then in Omada?

Which Omada Gateways are able to handle that?

It might not be supported on your model yet.

  @Clive_A I guess so and ordered a more "advances" model. ER7412-M2

But I have to admit that I was a little  bit surprised that a "business" router does not have that, for me, basic feature. Alias IPs does not make sense at all for that model.

I confirmed with the dev that the ER7206 V2 pre-release should support that.

As in your original post, there is no mentioning about the hardware version.

  @Honkman

I don't think the problem is the Omada controller, but rather the router firmware. I hope there will be a router beta in the next few days with the latest features that came to Omada controller 5.15.20, ER7206 v2. I've already seen this firmware, There should also be a fix for your problem there to.

  @MR.S tried it with a ER7412-M2 as well. Not working ... and that is a new model. More advanced. C

  @Honkman

I have tried to, for me it is not important but I tested on an ER707-M2 and an ER605v2 but both failed with this message.

So there's not much we can do about it until an update comes out.

If it's important to you, you can create a new wan interface while you wait for a fix, it should work.
