Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my EAP225 (EU version) after upgrading from firmware 5.0.8 to 5.1.6. My setup uses a voucher captive portal via Omada, and since the upgrade, my wifi repeater fails to obtain an IP address. The 5.1.6 release notes mention changes like requiring Omada Controller v5.9+, added PMF support, and possible channel adjustments, which might be conflicting with my voucher-based captive portal configuration.

Has anyone encountered similar issues or found a workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What device is the wifi repeater you mentioned?

Is it also an EAP? So you built an EAP mesh?
Is the issue mesh EAP disconnect from the network?

Please let us know more detials about the issue.

My generic wifi repeater and also the EAP 110.
Yes I built a mesh

No. Both generic wifi repeater and EAP 110 (set to repeater mode) fail to get IP after upgrade.

  @Mugiwaran0ka

So you have one EAP110-outdoor plugged into the network, and it configures as repeater mode.

After update the EAP225's firmware, the EAP110-outdoor can't get Internet access?

This is a little confusing. Please show us a screenshot of the controller's device page, and also the topology of your network. Thanks.
