I have 2 Starlinks in 1:1 load balance and generally it works great. Application optimized routing is on.

Only issue is some select media on X, FB etc is failing to load sometimes. It loads when I switch connection to cellular instantly or if I restarting the apps. Do you have any ideas how to fix that?

Hi @shuravko

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

That does not look like a problem with the load balance.

Is it possible that the Starlink gets congested or drops a few packets?

As you have enabled the Application Optimized Routing, it should keep the same WAN egress while you are using the social media apps. It does not load balance while you are browsing.

@Clive_A thank you for the reply, but if app uses different servers to distribute media content will it be routed via same WAN interface? My guess is I might be not authorized to download content if app initially connected via one WAN and try do load something via the other WAN. Could it be the case?

Yes. Though they may be CDN in different servers, the Application Optimized Routing would properly route them.

If you turn on failover, link backup, will this issue persist?
