Hi there,

I have 3 IP pools at my ISP. The IPs I get as routed subnet(s). Hope this is the correct term. Currently I have configured that using a Fortigate 60D (with two VDOMs) but I want to reaplce it with a ER8411.

My "main" IP is 62.40.X.X/24 . That is also the IP I can reach my firewall (Fortigate) from outside. But this IP is not used for any other traffic. The ISP is just routing all my IP pools on that IP.

The first pool is 82.218.181.X/29 wherby the first usable IP of that pool is the IP all "normal" traffic is using (NAT). The other IPs of that pool I just use for servers.

Second pool is 82.218.183.X/29, third pool is 82.218.185.X/29.

For completeness: I used the X here to not fully give away my IPs ;-)

Is there any way to get that configured using a ER8411?

Hi @Honkman

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Multiple WAN ports? Or multiple IP on a single port?

We support multi-WAN. We also support One-to-One NAT which enables you to have multiple IPs on a single WAN.

If that's what you are looking for.

@Clive_A We have on WAN port. Several (three) IP pools. But the specific issue is, that the IP pools are routed to the main IP of the WAN connection and that this IP is not part of the pools. Detailed explanation in my inintial post. C

@Clive_A And, for completeness, we had to bridge two WAN ports on the Fortigate to achive that. In fact, the Fortigate (virtually) works as two routers (VDOMS). C

@Honkman In fact, we need to configure 4 different WAN subnets on one WAN port whereby on subnet is the "main" subnet.

Even using "WAN IP Alias" seems not to be possible as solution as all my 3 IP pools belong to a different subnet.

This is the way we do a multiple WAN IP on a single WAN port.

If this is what you are looking for.

But if it is not, then there are no other configs on configuring the different subnets as you have ruled out the WAN alias.
