Dear Community,

 

i have below set of cameras for home surveillance.

 

1. c540 with SD card inserted with 512 gb

2. c320i X 3 cameras .(no idea now how can i store the recordings of these devices. ) kindly suggest the options and compatibility.

 

currently am using the 6 port POE switch for power and internet

Hi @SureshBoda 

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Either use the micro-SD card if the camera supports it or get an NVR for all cameras. NVR can storage and display the current image. And play back if necessary. It also stores the footage.

If you want unified storage, the NVR is the way out. I looked up this C320I, it seems that it does not have an SD slot which means you are not able to use an SD card for it.

 

C540 is no problem with the SD card as I have tested this model most. It can store the video footage on it.

if i go with  TP-Link VIGI NVR1004H 4 Channel Network Video Recorder | 4K HDMI NVR | 8MP | H.265+ | ONVIF, CGI| Plug & Play | Two-Way Audio | Remote Monitoring   Nvr , does this nvr has the storage in built it should i have to buy the SSD seperately and attach it.

There are some models includes a hard drive. It is marked with 4T or something like that. This one does not come with the drive. See the product specs/details.
